October 30, 2006 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec announces that the TCFI IID fuel injection controller for Harley-Davidson® Twin Cam 88® applications has been upgraded to include support for 2007 models. The TCFI IID includes the new WEGO IID dual channel wide-band exhaust gas oxygen sensor system for simultaneous auto-tuning of both front and rear cylinders.

August 1, 2005 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec announces new VRFI fuel injection controller or 2002 and later V-Rod™ motorcycles.  The VRFI brings the same proven closed loop fuel injection control technology pioneered with our TCFI system to the VRSC engine.  

 

January 10, 2005 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec concludes product licensing agreement with S&S Cycle. Under the terms of the agreement, S&S Cycle will manufacture a Daytona Twin Tec designed internal (nosecone) ignition for use with their line of carbureted engines. With the addition of S&S Cycle to our list of licensees and OE customers, Daytona Twin Tec is now the leading supplier of OE systems to the V-Twin aftermarket. Our Model 1005 ignition has become the industry standard against which other products must be judged.     

June 7, 2004 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec announces new TC88A ignition system for 2003 and later carbureted H-D® motorcycles available August, 2004. The TC88A is the first aftermarket ignition system to support H-D® models that use the new J1850 data bus between the engine controller and instrument cluster. The TC88A adds many new features including built-in data logging and support for H-D® scan tools.

June 30, 2003 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec obtains license for U.S. Patent 6,560,528 for fuel injection technology from ICT (Longmont, Colorado).  Marrying elements of the patented ICT technology with our own TCFI auto-tune technology now allows us to offer the industry's most user friendly  fuel injection system.  

April 7, 2003 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec announces new WEGO (Wide-band Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor Interface) that allows auto-tuning fuel curves for our TCFI system without extensive dyno time. The WEGO with optional LCD display is also highly useful as a tuning aid for all carbureted motorcycles.

November 1, 2002 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec concludes product licensing agreement with Custom Chrome (Division of Global Motorsports Group). Custom Chrome will manufacture a Daytona Twin Tec designed internal (nosecone) ignition for use on their Revtech engine program. 

October 15, 2002 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec previews the new TCFI (Twin Cam Fuel Injection) system at Biketober Fest. The TCFI is a plug-in replacement for the Delphi® fuel injection. An optional  wideband oxygen sensor interface allows auto-tuning and eliminates most of the tedious tuning required by competitive "band aide" products.

April 15, 2002 (Daytona Beach, FL) - "Tweakers Paradise" article in the June issue of Hot Bike magazine describes how the programmable advance curve capability of our Twin Tec TC88 ignition helped solve detonation problems.

March 11, 2002 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec inks deal to supply Merch (Red Deer, Alberta) with a special version of our Model 1005 internal ignition. Sales manager Allen Alvarez reports that Merch selected the Model 1005 on the basis of the unit's ability to track operating statistics and thereby reduce warranty costs.

February 1, 2002 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec signs Arlen Ness (San Leandro, CA), Axtell (Des Moines, IA), and Drag Specialties (Janesville, WI) as distributors for Twin Tec branded products.

December 3, 2001 (Daytona Beach, FL) - Daytona Twin Tec inks private label deals to supply Chrome Specialties (Fort Worth, TX), Head Quarters (Ontario, Canada), Midwest Motorcycle Supply (Arnold, MO), and Zippers (Elkridge, MD) with ignition systems for Harley-Davidson® applications. Sales manager Allen Alvarez reports that these companies picked Daytona Twin Tec as their supplier after dyno tests revealed that the Twin Tec units, along with Windows software for programming custom advance curves, produced more horsepower.
