Windows Software

Click on the software that you want to download. These materials are in the form of compressed files that utilize the new Windows Installer service for an easy one click install. The software is compatible with Windows 98/ME/XP. It will not install on older PCs running Windows 95. The new versions on this website will install on Windows Vista, however you must disable the User Account Control (UAC) during installation as described in the Vista UAC Tech Note.  Instruction sheets to accompany our software are listed in the section above. Check the table below to see what software version your product requires.

The following table lists the required software and possible upgrade paths for our TCFI and VRFI series. To determine the firmware revision of your module, use your current PC Link or Log software and download from the module. A message box will pop up with the module's firmware revision. To determine the version of  your software, click on About on the Help menu. If you attempt to load an incorrect firmware revision into your module or use any software versions other than the required software listed below, the module may become inoperative.

TCFI III Firmware Update

You can update the firmware in TCFI III units. The firmware update package is a ZIP archive file that you can download by clicking on the link below. Installation of the firmware update requires the Mega Boot Programmer software and accompanying instructions that you can also download by clicking on the links below. You will also require a PC link cable. Read the instructions carefully before proceeding.  Mega Boot Programmer software is compatible with Windows 98/ME/XP. It will not install on older PCs running Windows 95. The new version on this website will install on Windows Vista, however you must disable the User Account Control (UAC) during installation as described in the Vista UAC Tech Note. Once you have installed Mega Boot Programmer software on your PC, you can continue to use it for any future TCFI III firmware revisions.

Warning: For use with TCFI III only.  If you try to use this firmware with a TCFI Gen I or Gen II unit, it will become inoperative and you must return it to the factory.
